The road to net-zero starts with transforming our energy systems. Our youth delegate Zvezdana Božović participated in articulating opinions and concerns of the young into a press statement. At SB60, RES Foundation and the YOUNGO Energy Working Group are calling for an energy negotiation track to accelerate global efforts and will jointly present their statements at a press conference titled “#Time4Action – Call for a dedicated energy negotiation track” due to take place on Friday, 7 June 2024 at the World Conference Centre in Bonn.
June UN Climate Meetings are organised by the UNFCCC secretariat (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change), which is the United Nations entity tasked with supporting the global response to the threat of climate change. The Convention has near universal membership and is the parent treaty of the 2015 Paris Agreement.
