With the second in a series of trainings for employees of the Regional Development Agency Zlatibor and partners from the City of Užice, the process of education on the topic of sustainable energy, carried out by the RES Foundation, continued. In addition to co-founders Jasminka Young and Aleksandar Macura, and Filip Blagojević from RES Foundation, the project team of RRA Zlatibor, colleagues from the Competence Center for Sustainable Energy of the Zlatibor Region, as well as representatives of the City of Užice participated in the training held on November 8 in the premises of the Regional Startup Center.
This time we discussed associating for the purpose of performing energy activities, energy cooperatives, energy communities, digitalization, legal and public policy framework for association and other topics that are directly related to the energy transition of local communities and society as a whole.
The training was organized within the project “Improving the use of sustainable energy in the Zlatibor region”, which is financed by the German Organization for International Cooperation (GIZ) by order of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany (Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development – BMZ).
