RES Foundation and the Belgrade Open School invite you to join us at a conference on public and private aspects of energy efficiency: Who owns energy efficiency? Who pays and who benefits?

The conference will be held on November 27, 2024, at the Golden Tulip Zira Hotel (Rodos Hall) Ruzveltova 35, Belgrade, starting at 11:00 a.m. You can find the detailed agenda in the text below the call. Please confirm your attendance by filling out the form.

With the support of the Heinrich Boell Foundation, RES Foundation is implementing a project whose aim is to help students, young politicians, emerging politicians, participants in the implementation of public policies, as well as investigative journalists, to think about the relationship between public and private benefits as well as public and private investments in improvement of energy efficiency. The project is being implemented at a time when the taxpayers of the Republic of Serbia will invest almost 100 million euros of borrowing money in improving energy efficiency with the participation of hundreds of officials from over 130 municipalities and cities.

Join us if you want to discover the main findings of the research that will be presented to you by RES Foundation team in order to bring the topic of energy efficiency closer to those who will handle the processes of maintaining and improving the public good in the Republic of Serbia and to help us all make informed choices in the best interest of the citizens of Serbia.

We will also discuss the role of young people in the combat against climate change. Young participants from Serbia will share their experiences from the United Nations COP 29 conference in Baku.

We invite you to share your opinions on the topic during the conference or during the extraordinary lunch 🙂 that follows the event.
