On October 3, 2022, together with partners from Network of Good Energy, RES Foundation organized the conference “Network of Good Energy 5G”, an event where the participants discussed the development of local energy in the previous five years and exchanged opinions on the main challenges and opportunities for the decarbonization of local energy.
The conference was held in the building of the Municipality of Sremski Karlovci from 10:00 a.m. to 4:10 p.m.
Three panel discussions were held, moderated by the co-founders of RES Foundation, Jasminka Young and Aleksandar Macura, which covered three different thematic units that are of great importance for the implementation of the decarbonization of local politics. The panelists discussed the current crisis and its effects on local energy policy, then local energy in local development plans, and finally, the impact of the crisis on the use of solar energy.
A meeting was held in Sremski Karlovci with the topic of strategic planning of the ‘Good Energy Network’.
Together with partners from Vojvodina Environmental Movement and Belgrade Open School, RES Foundation worked on the assessment of what was done in the last 5 years and the planning of the strategic network of priorities in the coming period.
Activity is a part of the Network of Good Energy project implemented within ECO-SYSTEM: Support for reforms in environmental protection programme, implemented by Young Researchers of Serbia and supported by Kingdom of Sweden.
