This Report was prepared within the project “Smarter Stoves Partnership”, which aims to create a regional knowledge platform to replace inefficient individual solid-fuel household heating devices across the Western Balkans. The project is implemented by RES Foundation and funded by the Austrian Ministry of Climate and European Climate Foundation (ECF).
“Freedom of bad choices” presents results of survey conducted among solid fuel stove users in Serbia. In addition to demographic characteristics, the survey included questions on the profile of the residential building, energy consumption, attitudes regarding the potential replacement of devices, but covered the health aspect of energy consumption and heating practices as well.
