Co-founder and programme director of the RES Foundation, Jasminka Young, participated in the first meeting of members of the Global Compact Serbia Network this year, which was held on February 29 at the premises of Ernst & Young Serbia.
Tijana Koprivica from Delta Holding and Danko Kalkan from Ernst & Young Serbia spoke on behalf of the Management Board of the Global Agreement Network and presented the planned activities for the next period.
Dr. Dušan Stojaković, senior manager for global sustainability at STADA Group and member of the Steering Committee of the Global Compact Network Serbia, spoke about the similarities and differences between the ESG concept and the Sustainable Development Goals and presented the findings of his work on this topic.
In the second part of the meeting, we had the opportunity to meet the new members. Gordana Vasojević from the company MTU Maintenance Serbia and Leo Pandžić from the company DDOR presented the ESG priorities and current practices they apply in their companies, as well as the challenges they face in the application of ESG principles.
