On November 23, RES Foundation was host to a meeting with representatives of the American Embassy in Belgrade, the National Ecological Association (NEA) and Renewables and Environmental Regulatory Institute (RERI), and on the occasion of the visit of the US Embassy Science Fellow dr Joanna Casey, Assistant Professor of Physics and Engineering, from the Fort Lewis College, University of Denver.
Dr Casey has been engaged in the last year as the US Embassy virtual air quality fellow and managed to set up a communication with various stakeholders interested in climate change and air pollution in Serbia. We used this opportunity to discuss the policy challenges to improve the air quality in Serbia and the Western Balkan region.
